Reflecting on our encounters with data and tangible and smart devices, we created a 'data entanglement' that materializes the online and offline connections.
A person that you want to ‘connect’ with might be unavailable for different reasons: location, schedule, internet access, external agents, commitments and obligations, travel, and even the do not disturb mode are all options to ‘relax’ a connection.

To respond to that longing for updates and connection, a physicalization of that data could become an object that makes tangible the status of the people you want to reach out to.
This object would include a link feature between two users, a string that does not disappear, it only relaxes when one of the two parts cannot interact.
When the connection stabilizes or the mood/ status is available the string will appear tensioned.

The data will be abstracted into just two points and a connecting string, disregarding geolocation, but making apparent the availability of the parts, and that those close links never disappear.
