"Voice-responsive Interactive Game"
A cybernetic model where information can be acted upon.
Cybernetics as framework for understanding the continuous loop of interaction and feedback between systems and agents—whether human, machine, or enviroment. It centers on observing, interpreting, and adapting systems’ behaviors, with feedback as a central concept. This approach allows us to analyze and understand complex dynamics by examining the processes of decision-making, interaction, and responses that create change or maintain balance in systems.
As a lens for understanding diverse, adaptive systems across technology, nature, and social interactions. That can be demonstrated when in a group setting humans may respond differently to the same inputs based on context.
In our cybernetic example, the user becomes part of a cybernetic system where each person’s input directly affects the output on the screen. It’s a responsive, emergent interaction where the group's behavior—whether they speak or stay silent—dictates the system’s response, forming a loop that shapes the overall experience. Like ripples the character in the model (cactus/bird) moves according to our input, and the obstacle we are playing against resizes and stabilizes, feedback loops in cybernetics show us how systems reach stability through constant responses to change.
Each of these concepts builds on the others to create a dynamic, interconnected system.
- Dynamic Cybernetics Interaction
- Human-machine Interaction: voice-display
Both agents are actively decision-making
-Provides a feedback loop: screen-algorithm
During the ideation stage our understanding of cybernetics became clearer after iterating over a couple of ideas that surface. Ultimately we can always look deeper and deeper and find new loops.

User Interface
Inspired in flappy bird and dino run we have a static background and a scoreboard that counts how many times we successfully avoided the bird. The player is a cactus that can stay put or jump according to the voice input from the user.
